Well, more internet problems. Actually it's the same thing with my NAC application that it was before. It either doesn't recognize my anit-virus software and puts me in quarantine so I can't really use the internet, or it makes me install a mandatory update which causes the program to crash on startup. I'm fiddling around with it, but chances are I'll have to take it in to IT, and hopefully they'll remember how to fix it from the last time this happened. Actually last time I fixed myself, although I think it was mostly luck cause I'm doing all of the same things that I did last time without any success. IT ended up calling me about a week later asking if I was still having problems. Oh well, I'm stuck in the computer lab until this crap gets figured out. In other news, I doubt I'm going to make an observations file this week for a lot of reasons, including but not limited too: computer problems, not feeling too great, lack of interest from me and my listeners (only two people downloaded the last one), and probably some other stuff that I can't think of at the moment. In other news, our first concert is this Sunday at 3 PM in Mees hall. If anybody feels like showing up for it I'd be amazed. I'd be even more amazed if you actually did come. I'm not expecting anything just cause I know I'm so far away from almost everyone. I just thought I'd let everyone know just in case anyone feels adventerous on Sunday. Well, I've probably got other stuff to say, but none of it is interesting (meaning I can't remember what it was) and I need to get mad at my computer until it either stops beign sad or just explodes in my face out of revenge. That would suck...a lot.

UPDATE: Ok, so IT did a massive update of the network and whatnot today that supposed to fix all of these problems. It didn't work. Time to go ape-shit...

NEW UPDATE: Well, I took my copmuter into IT and they basically said that I'm SOL. I guess that whenever Cisco puts out an update of the NAC application that we have to use, it doesn't run on a handfull of computers. Literally, it just crashes the instant you start it. So I'm stuck on library computers until all of this crap gets sorted out. Don't worry though, I still have fairly easy access to all of my funsites, and all of these computers have GAIM on them (which I must say I'm not a fan of right off the bat), so I'll be able to do most of my normal internet mischief. The only real problem is that I can't be online until the wee hours of the night, but oh well, I have other things to do. Like sit around and watch Stanley Kubrik movies. Speaking of which, would anybody like to explain 2001: A Space Odessy to me? The last half hour of that movie made my brain hurt.
